Big Brother
Here is just a quick page about Riley the day he met Kiki for the first time. I think he was more interested in the stethoscope than the baby! Little did he know, the baby was coming home with us! LOL!
This kit is called Circles and was purchased from Ping Designs.

Oh, Riley!
Sweet 16
This is a card I made for a design call...haven't heard back yet. :(
The design was a sketch challenge on Splitcoast a few months ago. I changed the size to accommodate the rub-on.
No stamping on this one. The printed paper is from Basic Grey...what a gorgeous line! The 'sweet' rub on is from My Mind's Eye and the '16' is from Doodlebug Designs.

Ode to my Hubby...
I'm feeling rather love-y today and make a couple pages about my amazing husband. He really is the best guy in the world. I love him with all my heart...smooches, Babe!
This is the Moody Blues kit available at Shabby Princess.

More Digipages!
I am SO addicted! Yesterday, my husband, son, and me had the WORST stomach illness EVER!! Other than thinking I was gonna die, all I could think of was how I was NOT digiscrappin!!! So sad! I have to make up for lost time today!
Here are a few pages I got done the night before getting sick...they were really fun to make!
This kit is from Shabby Princess. Slayton had so much fun coloring eggs at Grandma's...and the mess was in her house, not mine! LOL!
This gorgeous kit is from oscraps. I just love the girly kits!

4th of July
We have very few traditions in our house, but one that we do have (and follow religiously!) is meeting up with our friends Jon, Bekki, and Quentin for 4th of July! It just wouldn't be fun without them!
The kit was downloaded from Scrap Kitchen.
Love it when...
I can't tell you how many of these pictures I have...you are trying to take a picture of the little ones...and they are more interested in getting right up in your face to see what you have! All 3 of my kiddos just love to get nose prints on my lens! LOL
Kit downloaded from Peppermint Creative.
My sweet baby girl
This is an absolutely gorgeous freebie kit I downloaded from Peppermint Creative. The papers are lovely and the elements are totally my style!
This is a picture of Kira right after she had her first bath. She was so soft and warm! I will miss the 'new baby' smell!

Bat Girl!!!
Our Wild Child!
Today's digipage
Slayton is home with the stomach flu and Kiki is napping, so I thought I would make a quickie page. This is super simple, no journaling or anything, but it is one of my favorite pictures. I just love having all my babies around me!
I don't remember where I downloaded this kit from...I have been to SO many sites in the last few days...

It's an addiction...
So, Kira is addicted to sippies. Especially sippies with Vanilla Soy Milk! She would exist on that alone if we allowed her! We try to keep her from drinking too much milk, but she screams and throws her sippies at you until you give in...and since I tend to be kinda passive, I allow it. I know I shouldn't, but if that is the worst thing in my life, I'm OK with that!
The kit on this page is yet another from Shabby Princess. Their freebie kits are gorgeous and are the perfect thing for me to experiment with.

OK, last one for today!
By George, I think I've got it!
OK, so I figured out these shadows...at least at a basic level...LOL! Here is my second digi page. Very simple and basic, just getting a feel for the program.
This is another digital kit from Shabby Princess. The striped paper and colors matched Kiki's shirt perfectly.
This picture always cracks me up. This was taken when Kira fell asleep on her Dad after a LONG day. She would NOT nap for me, but was out within 10 minutes of her Daddy getting home!
Our car is PAID OFF!!!
What an awesome feeling!! After 6 years of payments, our Kia is finally all ours! Things are finally starting to look up! Yippee!

I completed my very first Digital page!!
It kinda stinks and we haven't figured out how to add drop shadows without making the entire workspace grow but...this is addicting!!!
The kit is called Lucky Star and I downloaded it from www.shappyprincess.com. They have some totally adorable kits.

What a SWWEEET surprise!
Slayton brought up the mail and said 'Mom! There is a package for you!'. Since I didn't order anything, I was curious...so I look at it and it is a package from Stampington! I made it into Take Ten!! On page 5, my chicken card is right there for all to see!! They have me listed as Sarah Peak from Brattleboro, Utah instead of Peale from Vermont, but it's all good!

Last one for today!
Ric Rac Flowers
I was just playing around with some supplies and I came up with some cute little ric- rac flowers. I think they would be so sweet for a Mother's Day card or a girlfriend's birthday. I will have to keep playing, but I had a great time making this.
I chose the colors based on the great May Arts ribbon I got from Starlit Studio on EBay. I just love how happy the colors are!
Happy summer projects!
It is just getting cold outside, but I have been working on some summer projects! I just love summer colors! They make you feel so warm and make me think of walking on the beach. Sigh. I wish I was walking on the beach! LOL!
I had a blast making this tag book. It is actually my first! I seem to have a hard time making things other than scrapbook pages and cards...don't know why! I will certainly be making more and trying other new things!

I promise...
to post a bunch of new projects soon! I have been really busy creating some things for submission to Papercrafts magazine. I'm hoping my card being chosen isn't a once-in-a-life-time deal...I really want to have some more in there! I think it will be a great opportunity.
Anyway, I will post more stuff soon!!

Monogram Band Aid Tins
These are a few of the Band Aid tins I am preparing for my stamping get together in December.
I am using the Holiday Thyme paper from SU! so they all coordinate and go with my Christmas Theme. The monograms are the new self ashesive mini monograms from Basic Grey. These babies are the BEST! These little guys are REALLY fun to decorate. They are small enough that they aren't a real pain!
I hope the girls like them!

This year's Christmas cards
So, I have never made my own Christmas cards before. Heck, I hardly ever send them out! Well, this year I am ahead of the game! The kids' presents are on layaway, the parts and pieces have been bought to make family gifts, and my cards are DONE!
I love this set, The Snowflake Spot. I think it is really adorable! It looks great embossed with the Irridecent Embossing powder. It is so sparkly! I daubed white craft ink around the edges of the Kraft cardstock to make it look like a frosted window. I used the ticket corner punch and love how it make a nice little home for the brads!
I decided to stick to traditional Christmas colors...don't know why...maybe next year everyone will get pink cards!

I'm going to be in Paper Crafts Magazine!!
So, I submitted a few of my cards to Paper Crafts Magazine for publication consideration. Well, I got an email that one of them was accepted for the April/May issue!! I sent it in yesterday!!!
Stitches!
OK, so yea, this happened almost a year ago, but I just got around to scrapbooking the pictures!
Poor Riley was trying to push between me and the sofa, ended up tripping and smashing his face against our coddee table. He managed to put his bottom teeth right thru his bottom lip. Poor Baby! Luckily, Peale had just left for work, so I was able to call him right away. He can racing home and we wisked Riley to the ER. He was so brave while he got his stitches! Daddy had to stay with him because I felt like I was gunna pass out. Plus, one of us had to stay in the waiting room with the other kids!
Luckily, he only has a tiny scar and I have a cute scrapbook page! LOL

Have you ever...
started stamping, had no idea where it was headed, and just kept adding til it looked right?! Well, this is my latest example of just that! I felt like stamping and just started pulling things out! I'm having a great time with this stamp set, Perennial Favorites. I love that it has paper that matches perfectly. I will definately get a lot of use from this set!
I only have one color Stickles and I wanted the Stickles in the middle of the Primas to be the same monochromatic green as the rest of the card. So, I put a little Stickles on a piece of paper and added True Thyme reinker (only a LITTLE bit) and mixed it up. Voila! Pretty green Stickles!
This is the card...
Glittery Dragonfly
This card just makes me happy! Peale and I were watching a movie and I just kept getting ideas for this card in my head. I had to get up and get it down on cardstock!
I received the dragonfly and the scalloped circle from the IRAK group on SCS. I colored his wings with markers and then just covered him in Crystal Effects and dumped a whole load of glitter on him! He is so sparkly!

Got the itch...!
For the last two weeks or so, I've been concentrating on scrapbooking instead of stamping. I have a HUGE stack of photos to get into albums! But, I just HAD to make a card last night! Stamping is definately an addiction.
So, this is what I made. Pretty simple lay out but I really like the colors. This is one of my all time favorite sets, but then again, lilacs are my favorite flower!

Jumping back on the SCS challenge bandwagon!
Friday, August 25, 2006
It's a Pirate theme for Riley's 4th birthday!!
So, we finally decided that Riley would love a Pirate 4th birthday! I had received some Pirate images from the IRAK group on SCS, so they were perfect!
The background is embossed with white embossing powder to try to mimic a fishing net. The treasure map was watercolored and then crumpled and distressed with caramel ink. It was so hard to crumple up a beautiful image, but I guess if Capt. Jack Sparrow carried a map around with him for a few years, it wouldn't be all pretty and clean anymore!
I have so many ideas in my head! This is gunna be a great party! ARRRR!!!

My Pretty Pearl Ex card!
Monday, August 21, 2006
Wow! A clean stamping desk!
I made one card tonight (I will post a pic in the morning...) and then looked at my area in complete disgust! I had to do something! So, I took an hour and cleaned that bad boy off! Now, I have a great big, clear area to STAMP! I have lots of ideas in my head, so I will have to get them down in ink during the next few days!

VSN on splitcoaststampers.com was last night!
I only was able to participate in one challenge, but it was a great one! Laurakj posted the challenge to use only pink and one neutral color on your card! I had a blast!
I stamped the flowers in dark pink then used the flower outline stamped in Versamark ink ans embossed them with glitter powder. I sponged 2 pink colors over that. The background is also embossed with glitter powder.
I am really proud of this card! It came out better than I thought it would!
