Cub Scouts

We have a Cub Scout in the house! After much begging and debate in the house, I finally agreed to let Slayton sign up. He was so proud to be all dressed up this morning as he got ready for the Chuck Wagon Derby. The den had a great time and they won a blue ribbon for their wagon.

I think this will be a great learning experience for the boys and Riley has already started asking when he can sign up!

You won't regret it. Both my sons are boy scouts - my 17 year old is working on his Eagle project now. Scouts have taught them so much. Not just about the outdoors and camping and "guy" stuff, but about teamwork, cooperation, relationships, leadership - so many wonderful things. It's an incredible program and I wish every boy could participate in. Have fun!!

I agree! You won't regret letting your son do scouts. My oldest son is now a Boy Scout and my middle son is a Webelos II this year. They both really enjoy it and they have learned so much and made great friends along the way. ~ Kim

Congratulations! That's a big deal. My son just became a Wolf Scout yesterday. :)

I just wanted to let you know that you've recieved an award on my blog. I realize that what I featured is from 2006 but I guess that's one of the perks of the internet. It's always there to enjoy. You are so talented and creative - thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas.
