I finally got to participate in Kristina color challenge! I have wanted to do the last few, but life just got in the way!
I really loved the contemporary look of the colors and wanted to carry that through in my card. I sketched this out before I started it (something I rarely do).
I used Birds of a Feather and Guide Lines for the images. The white panel is actually stamped in with Guidelines in white craft ink, but it is hard to see in the pictures.
I hope you all enjoy your weekend. We are going school clothes shopping on Saturday since schools starts again on Thursday. Riley is in desperate need of some pants (can you say highwater?!) and Slayton needs everything! Can't wait to pay that bill!
Recipe:
Stamps: Birds of a Feather, Guidelines
Paper: PTI white, Rose Red, Basic Gray, Basic Black
Ink: Rose Red, White Craft
Accessories: Nestabilities, brads, sewing machine, felt flowers, ribbon

Very nice card. Glad you showed us how it looks from the outside (tied shut) as well.
Looking quickly at your blog, I admire how you appear to be in a routine of posting a new creation almost daily.... shows that you are devoted to having a little time for yourself, which is something we all should do. (I call this my Therapeutic Time and wish I would fit it in daily.)
